PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) round bars, also known as Teflon rods, are
made from a soft, non-toxic fluoropolymer with an extremely low
coefficient of friction. This means very few materials stick to them, and
anything that does can be easily removed.
These PTFE plastic rods offer outstanding resistance to chemicals, weather,
and moisture. The material is insoluble in most organic chemicals and
provides excellent electrical insulation. PTFE remains stable across a very
wide temperature range, from –200°C to +260°C, making it suitable for
both cold and warm operating conditions.
Because of these properties, PTFE rods are widely machined into seals,
bushes, spacers, and valve parts used in chemical plants, pharmaceutical
units, electronics factories, and laboratories.
The performance of PTFE rods depends on resin quality, density, and dimensional control. We focus on consistent material properties to ensure reliable machining and predictable service life.
